Second Trimester
During this period (weeks 14 - 27), your baby will be growing a lot and you will be able to feel them move! Typically, this is the trimester in which women feel the most comfortable, as most of the first trimester symptoms often lessen or end. During the second trimester, you can find out the gender of your baby. You also will be screened and tested for conditions like gestational diabetes. Common symptoms of this phase include:
Backaches
Belly and breast growth
Braxton Hicks contractions
Headaches
Heartburn
Leg cramps
Nasal congestion
Sensitive gums
Skin changes
Varicose veins
